The objective of Christine Lim and Gabrielle Yang’s project is to encourage the reading and understanding of Psalms and Prophets through social media and throughout their parishes and diocese. Using social media to share short daily biblical reflections, they developed a project to print colour booklets of “Daily Reflections,” which was distributed in person to lay persons of different faiths, and priests and ministers in their communities.
By disseminating these “Daily Reflections,” recipients had a chance to learn more about Christian and Jewish faith traditions, which will spark an appreciation of their commonalities and differences and forge deeper understanding.
The distribution of the “Be Transformed” publication promoted interfaith dialogue and publicized the Russell Berrie Fellowship program and the John Paul II Center for Interreligious Dialogue.
