Serving as a vice-parish priest in the Roman Catholic Cathedral of Sts. Janes and Christopher in Corfu town, Father Robert is charged with the pastoral care of the Catholic communities on the mainland Preveza and Ioannina. He is also head of the Caritas Corfu which is the charity organization of the local Catholic Church.
The history and the contribution of the Greek Jews in/to Corfu society and the relation between the communities (Greek Orthodox – Roman Catholics and Jews) from the past until our days is very rich. The project will enlighten the past and the present relation between our communities in everyday life. Hopefully, the result will be a better understanding of common history that will promote collaboration between the communities which have formed the present society of Corfu Island.
